Exotic Places of the World- Maldives

Dear Blogger,
My next exciting post will be on Maldives which is located in the Indian Ocean. Its a beautiful exotic resort to visit and somewhere where Im very excited to be writing about.

Maldives
What I love about Maldives is the fact that it is the smallest Asian country in population and land area making it unique and exclusive!
With Maldives abundant sea life and sandy beaches it makes it a great tourist destination. This destination revolves around tourism so theres plenty to do here.

If you were to visit Maldives you would be whisked away by a speedboat or seaplane to your hideaway island this is because everyday Maldives is very different as the Muslim traditions differ as they outlaw alcohol and skimpy beachwear.

This island has unique aspects in relation to the accommodation available such as the Coco collection where you can bear witness to incredible creatures such as the white tip reef sharks, turtles and sting rays while staying in the charming water villa. Most accommodation bear beautiful sea views!

Maldives have no jungles or mountains so the sea is where you'll be heading on this trip! The water sports available here are endless.

Visiting an island that has more sea than land you have to make sure you do lots of the water sports. Especially surfing as it is a mecca to surf ehnthusiastics as the waves range from 3-8 feet tall! It has to be an incredible experience that would be a shame to miss out on!

I would like to give credit to maldives.com for the information and images I have compiled within this blog! Until next time readers!

Exotic Places of the World -Sri Lanka

Dear Blogger,
I have had requests to do a blog on Sri Lanka. I've personally never been or do not know a huge amount about Sri Lanka but I have done some research and I hope that I give you some insights into the beautiful country of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is an island in the Indian Ocean off the southeast tip of India. Beautiful Sri Lanka is full of lowlands and evergreen forests, the species that you bear witness to here would leave you utterly spellbound. It seems to me like a lost paradise filled with romantic landscapes. Boasting 433 bird species and with the oceans filled with the mighty blue whales and lively dolphins, Sri Lanka is the place to visit if you're interested in wildlife.

Say you're there to relax and enjoy the bliss of the quietness then you're at the right place as the country is renowned for its ability to inspire and heal.

With over 1600 km of coastline Sri Lanka is the ideal destination for the perfect tan! For the more active people you can enjoy an aray of water sports including windsurfing, kayaking, yachting, water skiing, scuba diving!

Sri Lanka is a tropical country so rain can be expected at anytime of the year from this destination! The climate does change dramatically from different parts of the country.                      The traditional cuisine of Sri Lanka is said to be the most complex cuisines of South Asia. Losts of spices and rice are found in their dishes and most of their dishes are very distinctive.
I'll leave it at that! I hope you've been as intreged as I am by Sri Lanka's tropical country! Until next time, I'll leave you with a typical dish from Sri Lanka of rice and prawns.

Exotic Places of the World- China

Dear Blogger,
I am taking you to a place where I have been on vacation to. It has been one of the most enjoyable trips I've been on, filled with sightseeing and full of culture..

China

From massive modern cities to quaint little villages, China has a vast range of opportunities to enjoy. What I loved about China was the antiquity of the country. The people you met are the most genuine hard working people that you'll meet.
So I would like to share with you some highlights of my trip to China so here goes......
One of my highlights would have to have been climbing the Great Wall of China as you could see how well it had been engineered with it expanding over 6000 km along the mountain side, it was definitely a great piece of history to have been able to visit and learn about.

Another must do in China is to visit the zoo. I had the chance to but unfortunately I did not bear witness to my favourite animal- the beautiful Panda- so I would encourage the visit to the Panda Research Centre to ensure that you get to see these incredible creatures. China is definitely the best place to visit to see all types of wildlife as China lies in two of the worlds major ecozones.

I got the chance to visit Hong Kong which is the most dynamic city there is to visit and one city that is a must to visit. With a population of over seven million. One place that basically encapsulates Hong Kong is the view from Victoria Peak which looks down apon the city.

If any of you are big hikers or just want to witness the beautiful highlands of China then why don't make a trip to the Himalayas which divide China from South and Central Asia.

Until next time on some Exotic Place of the World, I'll have to leave my insights about China to an end. Thank you for reading and I hope you have gained some insight to China from this blog post.

Exotic Places of the World- Bali

Dear Reader,
I've been really looking forward to doing some research on Bali as my very own sister got the chance to go backpacking in Bali. I know she had an amazing time and the experiences she had were incredible so I felt the need to write about this beautiful place.

Bali

Bali is a small province of Indonesia. The province of Bali is approximately 153km wide and spans 112km north to south accommodating a population of 4.1 million.
Bali has some beautiful mountains that elevate to over 3'000 metres. Along with this the island is surrounded by coral reefs, bringing exotic fish to the island.
I think Bali is a captivating island for young and old people, I know from my sister that this trip can be whatever you want to make it, so if you have very little or a lot of money the experience will be just as good, you just have to know what to prioritise!

The activities that can be done are endless! The exotic birds and animals are unique to the Asian culture and highlight the differences Bali has to offer.
Some activites that I myself would like to do would be as follows

  • Visit the Bali Safari and Marine Park.
  • Waterbom Bali (waterpark)
  • Bali Adventure Tours (tour on elephants or white water raft)
  • Discover the ancient ruins of Munduk Wilderness.
  • Bali Diving Academy ( go underwater and witness the exotic fishes of Bali up close)

Attached is a video that I felt captivates Bali and what it has to offer in a short clip.

Until my next engrossing post on an exotic place of the world!

Exotic Places of the World - Hawaii

Dear Reader,
My first post will be on Hawaii, you might ask why? Well, it's somewhere that I hope I will get to visit one day and you'll soon see why.

Hawaii
The sun on your face, swaying palm trees, clear blue waters is what comes to my mind when thinking of Hawaii. Although many think it to be an expensive tourist trap off the coast of California. Hawaii is build on the reputation of being one of the most beautiful islands the world has to offer. The temperature ranging from 18 - 31 degress celsius, it really is a perfect hotspot for tourists. Hawaii is built up of 6 very unique islands each bearing something different. The activities are endless and truly life changing.
Why not go to the Volcanos National Park which features actual active volanoes. Choose to see the craters and spitting lava by means of biking, hiking or flying, this will make sure to get you out of your comfort zone.
Go on a dolphin watching tour and even get to swim with the dolphins, this boat will take you out into the Pacific Ocean where you can witness whales and dolphins.
If dolphins are to mainstream for you then why not try out an exhilarating encounter with sharks in the safety of a steel cage.
The list is endless as these beautiful islands bear incredible scenery and endless activities, there is something to offer at all ages.
